As a newly published author with a book that was launched on Oct 29th 2024, it looks like with the new year, 2025, my book seems old, but it is still a baby of two months. I actually was asking another author to review it for a published book list, and she said she only reviews books from 2025. That seems a bit unfair, but being an author and getting one’s book out there is daunting especially for someone like me who will be back outside with her butterflies in March. That means that the hours I spend on technology and marketing will be traded for outdoor activities like getting the butterfly habitats ready.
First Comes a Butterfly has already given many children the joy of a real-life story with the magic that only mother nature can provide. Will you help me get the word out? It is a beautiful teaching tool with illustrious pictures that only Simon Mendez can create. Bring me into your classroom. I will promise to excite your students and bring nature to them. 2025, will find me publishing another nature book. Can’t wait to get it on the editor’s desk! Auld Lang Syne and let’s have a fabulous 2025! Sherry Krehbiel
